Meet the Team
Josh Carter: JP Carter Electric’s owner, Josh served in the United States Marine Corps from 1996 – 2000. Upon his discharge, he began an electrical apprenticeship, and after receiving his Master Electrician status, he founded JP Carter Electric in 2009. Josh brings 20 years of experience and his company just celebrated 12 years in business. For Josh, this is more than a simple business. It’s truly Josh’s passion and he loves to work and contribute here in his local community as well as all of the Lakes Region and surrounding areas. Initially from the Lakes area, Josh understands the importance of community; he volunteers wherever he can, from coaching his son’s baseball team to lending a hand with other community projects throughout the year. Josh is an outdoorsman at heart who enjoys camping, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Josh is a member of the American Legion at Post 49, he is in charge of organizing and delivering of food and gifts for the American Legion while working side by side with TNS Christmas fund, which helps families in need during the holidays.
Tim LaCasse: An Apprentice Electrician, Tim began working for JP Carter Electric in January 2016. Tim is a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 2003 to 2008 in the 82nd Airborne Infantry. He has had multiple tours overseas including a year in Iraq and a year in Afghanistan. Tim enlisted in the U.S. Army National guard back in 2008 and still serves. He is currently attending electrical school and will complete his education in May 2016. When Tim isn’t working, going to school, or serving in the Army National Guard, he enjoys hiking and woodworking.
