Meet the Team
Josh Carter: JP Carter Electric’s owner, Josh served in the United States Marine Corps from 1996 – 2000. Upon his discharge, he began an electrical apprenticeship, and after receiving his Master Electrician status, he founded JP Carter Electric in 2009. For Josh, this is more than a simple business. It’s a family affair. His wife Angela serves as Office Manager while even his son is part of the crew here. Initially from the Lakes area, Josh understands the importance of community; he volunteers wherever he can, from coaching his son’s baseball team to lending a hand with other community projects throughout the year. Josh is an outdoorsman at heart who enjoys camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.
Angela Carter: When you call our offices, the chances are good that you’ll reach Angela’s friendly voice first. Serving as office manager, head of Human Resources, and chief accountant, Angela plays many roles in JP Carter Electric. She’s also Josh’s wife. Sharing a fourteen year relationship with Josh that started in California during his time in the Marines, the two have been married for more than a decade. In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with her son and hosting parties. She’s also an avid reader, enjoying a variety of books including those by her favorite authors: Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and Nora Roberts.
